The "Entire Site" advertising space that is purchased will appear in the header or the footer, whereas the packages for 1 page and 10 pages will appear in the body of the pages that you select.

The packages for 3 and 6 months will be for entire months and will begin on the first of a month and terminate on the first day of the month following the end of your selected package period. For example, if you puchase a 3 month package on th 17th of June you advert will begin on the 1st of July and be removed from the website the 1st of October.

The year long packages work slightly differently. The First working day, after the payment has cleared the advert will go live on the website and terminate on the same day the following year.

You will notice that advertising only in the Spanish section of the website is slightly cheaper than the rates offered for the english pages. This is because the English language pages are viewed more frequently and there are more of them.

All packages are charged for a period of time, therefore you enjoy an unlimited amount of clickthroughs to your website and information.

Before you decide which pages you would like your advert to appear on, you can discuss with us the traffic individual pages recieve, and so maximize the return on your investment. We want to create a personal relationship with all the advertisers that choose to buy space on JustGranCanaria.com therefore, we have no plans introduce a scrolling ad system, so space is limited.

What about my competitors?

We will not accept more than three adverts in the body of any individual page. Reducing, but not completely eliminating the possibily of there being competitors adverts on the same page.

My Advert is working for me, how can I keep my slot?

All ad slots will be sold on a first come first served basis. So buy longer periods of time if you don´t want to lose your slot. If you find that your ad position is working for you, then let us know that you want more time as soon as you can. If you leave it too long, and someone else pays for your before you want to renew, you will lose it. If you renew after that you will be asked to choose another slot or a different page.

I would like to move my ad. Is that possible?

This is a personal service. Everything is possible. Provided you are not trying to exceed the limit of three ad slots per page then yes by talking to us you can move your ad, If the slot you want to move it to has not already been purchased. This will not mean that you have to pay any extra. But your ad will not be considered as new, so of you move it for example three days before your time period is due to expire it will still only be active on the site for the three remaining days. If I have a problem or I want to discuss something what should I do?

Advertising, always seem to cost a lot of money, and is a necessary evil for most of us. I want to advertise with JustGranCanaria.com but 1 page is not enough and 10 are too many. Can you help?

The answer is simply yes, we will if we can. Because this is a personal service, we can and will discuss anything with you before you commit yourself. All you need to do is email admin@justgrancanaria.com with your enquiries, and we will be in contact with you as soon as we can to discuss them.

Can my ad be any size?

The answer is no! All the adslots have been predesigned to be 160 by 160 pixels. You can however discuss with us the availabilty of purchasing 2 ad slots side by side, thus giving you an ad slot of 320 by 160 pixels, but you will be charged for both ad slots.

I have puchased an ad slot for both languages. Can I have them different positions? For example could I choose the header position in the English section, and then have the Spanish equivalent in the footer, or in the body of the text, perhaps even on a different page?

We are offering you a very personalized service, so all things are possible, by spending a little time with our admin team, planning your ad campaign. If the slot is available you can fill it.

I would like to place my ad in the text body of a page. Where will it go?

From reading above, you will already know that there will only be three ad slots added to the text body of any page, and they will be placed at our discretion, stepped from top to bottom, throughout the text. Ntwo ads will be in the same line or section of text. This is to give you more exposure and keep the page easy to read for our visitors.

Can Anyone advertise on your website?

Yes and No!, We are offering a personal service that enables us to offer you a targeted audience and our visitors ads that are as pertinent as possible to the content that they are reading. Of course this does not apply to the entire web packages, where the ad will appear in the slot you have chosen right across the website.

Plus, while these are paid adverts, we are placing them in front of our visitors, therefore we reserve the right to take them down at a moments notice, without prior contact. This will only happen in the event that we recieve complaints from our visitors, regarding the content of your ad, you will be required to amend it. Failure to help us in this way will result in your ad being taken down, and the refunds listed below will apply.

What services and products can I advertise on your website?

Anything will be considered, as long as we consider it of interest to our visitors, however, we will not accept, adverts containg links to porn sites, or any sites sites that contain material that could be considered as pornagraphic. e.g. dating sites that contain explicit images, that are available to be viewed by anyone. This is a personal service, and we will check all links. If we feel that you have tried to conceal the real nature of your advert, we will remove it and the refund system detailed below will apply.

I have paid, but I) cannot have the ad slot I want. What happens?

We use Paypal for all payments and the nature is that you pay for the ad slot before it is placed on the website. If we are unable to fulfill your needs or give you an alternative that you are happy with, we will refund all your money instantly

What if I change my mind? Can I get a refund?

Ad slots for 1 Month
Cancelled within the first week, we will refund your whole payment.

Cancelled within the first 2 weeks, we will refund 30%.

Cancelled within the first 3 weeks, we will refund 50%.

If the ad slot is cancelled within the last week there is no refund available.
Ad slots for 3 Months
Cancelled within the first 2 weeks, we will refund 90%

Cancelled within the last 2 weeks of the first month, we will refund 70%

Cancelled within the first two weeks of the second month, we will refund 50%

Cancelled within the last two weeks of the second month, we will refund 40%

For cancellations recieved during the last month, there will be no refund available.
Ad slots for 6 months
Cancelled within the first month, we will refund 60%

Cancelled within the second month, we will refund 50%

Cancelled within the third month, we will refund 40%

For Cancellation recieved within the last three months there will be no refund available
Ad slots for 1 year
Cancelled within the first 2 months, we will refund 60%

Cancelled within the 3rd or 4th months, We will refund 55%

Cancelled within the 5th or 6th months, we will refund 50%

For cancellations recieved during the last 6 months, there will be no refund available

We will mot enter a discussion, over the percentages, listed above. This is a personalized service, and as such there is a quite a lot of work involved, in both placing and removing the ads, plus owung to the very limited amount of space that has been allocated, we envisage that we will be turning customers away.

Of course we don´t want you to cancel your ad slot. If there is a problem that we can resolve before you cancel your ad slot, please let our admin team know what it is, and in the event we cannot resolve the issue, of course you are free to cancel your ad slot.
