This tour takes you to Mogán, which is a fishing village that was purpose built, and is often referred to as little Venice with it´s, whitewashed walls, climbing Bougainvilleas, and streams that run right through giving access to fishing boats. Tour 2 Las Palmas Tour Including shopping

Las Palmas is the very cosmopolitan capital city of Gran Canaria. Over time the city has found itself divided into two sections, the commercial and the historical. Vegueta being the historical sector and Triana the commercial.

Vegueta is drenched with cobbled streets and old Canarian buildings where Triana is the area of Las Palmas that has become the main shopping area. Here you will have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs or whatever takes your fancy.

On this tour you will also visit 5km of golden sandy beach in Las Palmas, called Las Canteras, which is lined with restaurants cafes and shops.

Tour 3 Ancient History

Wednesday, Saturday

This tour is a full half day, and during this tour you will visit the oldest village on Gran Canaria, Guayadeque. Here you will see the original caves where the Ancient Guanche people lived, along with a village that you can walk around.

Gran Canaria was the last island to succumb to the Spanish conquest and whilst on this tour you will also visit the place where the Ancient Guanches lost the final battle for Gran Canaria. (How different things might have been). The final battle took place in Santa Lucía. From here, on the tour, you will move on to Agüimes with it's cobbled streets and bronze statues. Agüimes has one of the most beautiful town squares on the island plus a church just waiting for you to discover them. On the way the tour makes a stop where you will have the opportunity to sample some Canarian tapas, and towards the end of the tour you will be able to take in the views available at San Bartolome de Tirajana so take your camera.

Tour 4 Around the Island

This tour will take you right around the island and starts in the south at Mogán, which is often called little venice. After this the tour takes you to “San Nicolas de Tolentino” which is a village, uniting the past with the present day.

The tour then moves on to Puerto de Agaete which is the gateway for ferry trips to other Canary Islands. This is also the place where you will stop for lunch.

As you tour around the island, you will see various points of interest such as the second highest bridge in Spain and the most important port on the island “Puerto de la Luz” along with a banana plantation.

Tour 5 Premium Gran Tour

This is the most popular tour of the island.

At El Molino Museum you will have the the advantage of seeing local products being made, including lace and embroidery.

From here you will traverse the heights and the plummeting valleys as the tour makes it´s way to Bandama which is the biggest crater in Spain. You will visit the historical market village of Teror which is today, the centre of tradition and culture in Gran Canaria, with it's cobbled streets and traditional wooden Canarian houses.

Tour 6 Grand Tour

The tour begins in Mogán and makes its way up to San Nicolas de Tolentino with a stopover at at Veneguera for a drink. San Nicolas de Tolentino is the most important tomato growing town on the island.

From here the tour stops at San Nicolas where you will have the opportunity to take some stunning photos, so don't forget that camera.

From there, the tour takes you up the west coast to Agaete where you will see the rock formation Dedo de Dios and the guide will tell you all about it. You stop here for lunch where local fish is a speciality.

From Agaete, the tour takes the coast road to the capital city of Las Palmas. On the way you will visit Galdar the ancient Guanche capital and San Felipe.

Tour 7 Undiscover Gran Canaria

This tour begins in Telde which used to be the capital of the island until the construction of Puerto de la Luz. From here you will go on to Arucas with it's rum factory and Neo Gothic church. You will be able to sample rum when you visit the factory.

From here the tour moves on to “Balcon de Zamora” which offers amazing views over Las Palmas and the north coast of the island. On to “Valleseco” often called the “Dry Valley” but which is in fact the most humid on the island.

From there you will travel through “Cruz de Tejeda with a stunning view of “Roque Nublo”. When the tour travels through Ayacata, you will be passing through thousands of palm trees and eventually reach San Bartolome de Tirajana which gives you incredible views over the valley of Santa Lucia and Fataga´s orange and lemon groves.

Tour 8 Las Palmas Highlights

As the name would suggest this tour, is a wonderful, yet condensed view around Las Palmas where you have the chance to see some of the more important, interesting and beautiful places in Las Palmas. Las Palmas is the capital city of Gran Canaria and you will learn all about this wonderful city while you are on this tour.

With this tour you will visit Vegueta which is the oldest part of the city. You will be taken to see the local market, the Cathedral Santa Ana, and the Christopher Columbus Museum.

Tour 9 Market in Teror

Markets are still very much an important of life on Gran Canaria and you will find most of the local Canarian markets in the interior of the island.

This tour focuses on the most popular and famous markets held at Teror. While here you will get to walk around the church and find out all about the Virgin of the Pines, the patron saint of Gran Canaria.

The market is located at the heart of Teror, while there you will see intricate pine wood balconies and have the opportunity to purchase olives, Canarian cheese, local art and much much more.

Tour 10 The Cavehouses at Guayadeque

On the way to Guayadeque the first stop of the tour, is Ingenio, which between the 16th - 19th centuries was known for it's sugar production and embroidery trade.

The tour then moves on to Guayadeque, where you will see the caves that were originally used and lived in by the Guanches. While there you will visit a church and an authentic Guanche cave house. There is a restaurant built into a cave where you will have an opportunity to sample some traditional Canarian food.

Next stop on the tour, is Agüimes where you will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of original Canarian architecture on foot.

You will then move on to Aguimes, the next stop of the tour, where you will see, Temisas which is known for growing olives.

The tour then takes you off to Santa Lucía, where you will take a lunch in a typical Canarian restaurant. There is a museum and entrance is optional.

On the way back, as you enter the final stages of the tour, you will traverse the beautiful ravine of Tirajana with a stop in the old village of Fataga, where you will enjoy the most amazing views so don't forget to take your camera.

Tour 11 Tenerife and Loro Parque

On this tour, you will travel through the wonderful pine forests of Santa Cruz along with it's fantastic volcanoes and of course Mount Teide.

The tour begins going north bound towards Agaete, where you will board the ferry, destination Tenerife. The ferry docks at, Santa Cruz, Tenerife. Once you have disembarked and aboard the coach once again, you will have the option to visit the sugar cane fields located at Teide. The tour then passes through dense Canarian pine forest and the Valley of Orotava, eventually arriving at Loro Parque. The park is set in grounds that spread across 134000 square metres and is famous for it's array of unique and different species including, dolphins, sharks, penguins, sea lions, killer whales and many more.

The return journey of the tour, will take you through Tacoronte and then on to La Laguna where you will board the ferry for the return journey.

The tour price includes an English speaking guide and dinner on board the ferry.
