Real Club de Golf Las Palmas

Other wise known as Bandama Golf, the Real Club de Golf in Las Palmas is the second oldest golf course in continental Europe, having been originally established in 1891.

It was designed by Mackenzie Ross and has only been at its current site, on the crater's edge of the long extinct Bandama volcano since the 1920's.

It is very much a members golf club with a wonderful history, and a truly outstanding location.

Real Club de Golf Las Palmas From this wonderful golf course, there are panoramic views of the mountains of Gran Canaria to the one side, and, the Atlantic Ocean to the other, yet despite its lofty position, the golf course is very easy to walk around.

The fairways of Real Club de Golf Las Palmas are lined with mature tropical flora, and are often crossed by dry river beds(barrancos), whereas the golf greens are small and well protected. This is a mature, popular and well developed golf course in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
