Theme Parks in Gran Canaria
|
For those wishing to do something a little different during there holiday Gran Canaria has lots more to offer than the traditional "Sun Sea and Sangria". There are theme parks dotted around all over the place. You can be cowboy or an Indian at
Sioux City, see
how bananas are grown and ride a camel at
Banana Park, get to grips with and understand the ancient Guanches lived at Pueblo Canario or
Mundo Aborigen.
You can have fun with the children at a mini fun fair which is on offer at
Holiday World, if you like to live a little dangerously you can of course go to the crocodile feeding at
Cocodrilo Park or perhaps you would prefer something a little more sedate but no less interesting then head for Palmitos Park.

If you are feeling a little prickly then perhaps you fancy
Cactualdea Park one of the many theme parks where you can see thousands of cactus varieties which have been imported from all over the world. Once you have caught the bug and want to know more about the plant life on the island then why not consider Jardin Botanico where you can look at and appreciate hundreds of indigenous plants and trees including the new species of Dragon Tree that has recently been discovered and only grows on Gran Canaria plus many other endangered or scientifically important species that have been bought here to be taken care of. You could spend a little time in Reptilandia Park where you will see more crocodiles and species of reptiles, arachnids and insects from around the globe.
There is so much to see and do on Gran Canaria it is impossible to fit
it all into one holiday. From
Las Palmas to
Puerto Rico via
Maspalomas you
will find theme parks to interest you. For more detailed information on any of the theme parks mentioned above click on the relevant link in this section.
